what are you afraid of?

Hi Reader!

Happy Tuesday!

Back in my old "corporate" life as a pharma chemist, Tuesdays were my hardest days. For some reason, that was the day I was the most tired and probably had the busiest schedule of the day.

Back then prioritizing my health was constant battle and I was constantly researching all the diet and fitness tips (totally at work too because clearly that was my "true priority" haha!)

And I did learn a lot reading those wellness blogs and all the articles back then (mind you, this was pre-social media boom).

But nothing really clicked physically with me, even though I was "eating all the right things" and exercising 5 days a week.

Until I started reading personal development books.

Books about courage, getting over the fear of the unknown, leadership building, and just overall mindset building were my go to's because I recognized that's what I needed to work on.

And I read a lot of them.

And slowly the shift happened and I achieved my health goals at last.

I truly believe now that that's why too many people struggle with their health, struggle with discipline, struggle with just searching for "that one thing!" that will fix all their problems.

Most people do not go through the effort to work through their mental blocks, especially the "fear of the unknown."

Its why people stay stuck and never reach their health goals. Its why they never lose the weight, relieve their symptoms, fix their hormones, or fix "_____fill the blank________".

If you were to drill now to the core reason to your health or weight struggles it would be because of fear.

Health is 90% mental.

You can't fix your health, until you work on fixing your FEAR first.

People are afraid of eating differently. People are afraid going to the gym for the first time. People are afraid of what others will think of them when they go against the grain. People are afraid of just starting.

However, until they work through that fear. Nothing will change.

If you have been struggling for years, maybe even decades of not getting to that place you have been working towards. If you feel like you have been spinning your wheels, tried every diet out there and still feel stuck, then you haven't properly done the mental part yet (or enough).

As a coach, I help my clients with this fear. I help them find the mental blocks. I help them get on the path to healing.

The eating healthy part is easy. But only after your conquer the mental part first. Especially your fear.

Happy Tuesday!

Love,

Lia
